Craig has been playing guitar since the mid 1960s. Musical influences include Steely Dan,Pat Metheny, Steve Howe, REM, the Smiths, Spyro Gyra, Junior Brown, Pete Anderson, the 3 O'clock, the Cars, and the Feelies, among others. Craig also plays saxophone, keyboards, bass, and drums

Craig has worked with other bands including the rock group the Natives (Newark, DE), alternative folk group Laughing Gulls (Philadelphia, PA), and the Bad Dog Blues Band (Northern VA/Washington DC area). Many years were spent working with producer Dave McKenna in his Newark, DE recording studio on Craig's original music. His work has been played on radio stations in Newark, DE, Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley, PA. While with the Bad Dog Blues Band, Craig had the opportunity to play along side blues legends Sonny Rhodes and Big Jack Johnson.

Formally trained as an entomologist, Craig now teaches middle school science. He lives with his veterinarian wife, their two sons and daughter, and their three dogs in Northern Virginia.
